Aside from the wonderful contrasting textures (I especially like the cracked, peeling paint), the composition is outstanding - it would look great blown up & hanging on a gallery wall. I like the fiddled version as well...

This is very nice.
terrific. Your flickr version has very finely done manipulations, they really have a fineness to them. This, however, has nature's own filters---age and decay---and you caught the contrasts wonderfully. Even the hinge has wonderful patterns on it. And the whole composition is finely varied. Well captured and well composed. A wonderful combination of elements. (All of which really stand out in zoom.)
