Great shot once again !!!
They have seen better days haven't they. Great shot. ☺
Looks like he blew one out, maybe he went for a repairman? Anomalous find and cool shot, Harry!
I'm trying to fill in pics I didn't get, among the ones I did...These are such unusual sandals---first, the wear on the soles makes the soles look like the worn remains of a foot skeleton (because of the treads on the soles). And then there are those brown leather straps, which are so strange against all the blue-gray. And rips. And those two yellow seams which stick out so much. And your usual patch of sidewalk, with wall. A minimalist piece, but still rich in detail because of the sandals. A forlorn shot---I mean I feel a little sorry for these beasts---and rich and fascinating. And re the owner being "shipped out via 3d class mail"---lol: Very quickly! So much so, he left his sandals behind. Either that or he was 'beamed up' but his sandals didn't make it. I can see the postal employees whispering, "poor chap, all he left was his sandals..."
