I think you finally found the real BENIMENGERIZED ruins... ;)
As always, full zoom reveals a universe: This has almost-Mayan elements in it. And it also looks like a gigantic segmented sculpture made out of chewing gum. (The chewer would have to have amazing teeth, not to mention very articulate chews!) I love the crevices and the deep crevices---you have a cave on the left, which seems to go back inside the structure, out of our sight. A very visceral almost Gaudi-like structure. And I love the bleaching light on the surfaces, in contrast with the deep dark shadows. Parts of your detail look like cities form the air. Or a high rise that got partially melted. Terrific work, Mandi: very creative, suggestive, and highly articulate all at once.
