I actually thought of giving this the title 'Arise, Lazarus, Arise', except the hero's name wasn't supposed to be Lazarus (haven't been able to think of a good name for him...). :)

Great render. Resurrection can as well be interpreted as levitation. In any case it transcends those understandings that are based on brain thinking. Your composition excludes a specially christian interpretation due to the egyptian, hindu and nordic elements. But they don't contradict, do they?
At a deeper, one might say more esoteric level, I don't see why they should. :)

Many ancient and more modern religions point to the revival or resurrection from the world of death or darkness, and your composition is really a faithful and gorgeous illustration of that belief .
