Description
St. Matthew 27:45 -46
Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum
v 45 - Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land to the ninth hour.
v46 - And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
King James version of the Bible.
A cry of spiritual agony in addition to the physical agony of being tortured and crucified. And that he submitted to this for us. Something deep to ponder.
Photos from the Lund Cathedral Easter landscape. The thumb nail is taken with flash and zoom, the photo is taken at night without flash. Easter 2012.

Beautiful and inspirational diorama, and a great photo of it, my friend! Perfect to remind us what this holiday is about.
Didn't get an ebot on this one - glad I stumbled onto it..
Very interesting description and documentation !!
very good low light capture. as his birth and death should be remembered year round, but relented to Easter/Christmas by many
yes the ruins can be visited with an escort by Park Rangers. I did not have time to wait for the next tour
A very strong picture of the passion in a wonderful mood. A fine accent of green between the red and orange colours. I wish you and your family good days and a salute from Gerrit.
It gives one pause to wonder why people kill those who preach love and peace.
Wonderful photo. Very nice shot! Happy Easter, my friend!
Nice low-light capture of the display. It looks quite dramatic this way. Happy Easter!
Nice mate.
