I downloaded the excellent Orkboyz by Jibicoco free here at the Rendo (and sharecg), and as I was checking out the various permutations that are available, this popped into my head...so I made it. Thanx and kudos to you Jibicoco, very fine work indeed! I had not used the Dystopia sets that I amassed years ago for quite a while, so I thought that maybe I should drag them out for an outing. Along with jibicoco's excellent low poly, peace keeping Cadian troopers, a Dystopian cargo ship to haul the belligerents to the local lock-up, and a Smasha (an Ork type joy riding cruiser) gathered somewhere in the murky past. This came together. The "city feel" was certainly helped by Powerage's M.O.M. crowd generator, a coupla three figures harvested from sketchup warehouse and tf3dm and voila, nothing to it! All the good stuff above, models tweaked in Cinema4d (6), figures posed in PoserPro 14, all elements staged, lighted, and rendered in Vue 6 Infinite, and some resizing and cosmetic adjusting in PS Cs3.
