Description
Dear friends - Berlin and David Bowie, this was something special. David lived here for two years and he never forgot the Berlin days. Berlin saved his live, when he came here in 1978, he found a lot of inspiration, a creative atmosphere and a lot of friends - musicians and other. Berlin honored this special artist at its own way. This will be a very small row of pics about Davids Berlin connection...
Hope you like it.
This picture here was taken in Berlin - Schoeneberg in front of the house, where David Bowie lived in Berlin, together with Iggy Pop, band leader of THE STOOGES. They lived together for some months, and then Iggy got the opposite flat in the same house. Both had different lifestyles, different sleeping times and the refrigerator was everyttime plundered by the other.... A typical men`s house....hehe...
Bye till tommorrow, billcody
