When Time Is Just A Memory
As she sits in her memory room
With all the treasures of gone by years,
Time is only measured in memories now
That was once filled with laughter and tears.
Her life is just a lonely one at this point,
As she remembers a house once filled with joy.
There was the sound of many children laughing
As they playing with all of their toys.
She wonder where all the time had went,
The children now grown and moved away.
They are living the time of their lives
While she just dreams about her heydays.
Her beautiful dark hair has turned to silver
And her ageing face has a wrinkled brow.
She just sits alone here in her memory room,
Where time is just a memory now.
