Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
That has lasted well.
had to do a definition search and I've learned something new
thank you
Makes me think of "The Bishop!" Wonderful !
It does look like a bishop's crosier or a fiddlehead. It seems to have held up well over the last 92 years. I had dinner last weekend at a home built in 1925 and was reminded once again how much quality we used to put into construction.
way cool
Very nice capture Andrea.
Nice thats quite a fancy one.
yeah, with Mark, it does look like a crozier, some kind of pastoral staff; or yeah, it does have a bit of a violin's scroll-look about it. Whatever it is (it's a finial, but I wonder if it was part of a larger design, or it simply stood as is), it's fascinating, and the shot lets it stand out against all that blue. Really fascinating shot. I love its decay too. It carries its age really well.
Quite impressive and original shot.
