Not flowers 'made' of wax: Flowers painted with wax.
(I dripped colored wax onto a drawing...)
The paper was textured with inks and wax.

This is really unique Mark! I love the look of this - but if I tried it, I'd just make a mess and probably burn myself!
I used to do similar sorts of stuff with white glue, lacquer and inks; art is really fun when you break out of the norms. Beautiful stuff here!

Drawing with wax is an ancient art...is needed much concentration, ability and also be able to think with such abstraction - in certain way - to get a good final result! Not easy at all! But You achieved that! Again. The brilliant background is wonderful and looks like silk... and you drew the flowers there, like if they were in a frame and you show them, like a bouquet inside a window. You gave it a 3D look. The textures are fabulous and the lines are very beautiful. I do love your choice of the color for the flowers that together with the placement in the sheet, gives to the whole image a very romantic feeling!! Wonderful work again, Mark. And very delicate!
