Description
1999 - Lightwave 5.5 / Photoshop (textures) - This one is something of an oddity, as the background I produced in LW6 more recently using it's more advanced procedural textures. The model of the dino is the LW5.5 version though.

great work, man! Very impressive!
Just goes to prove a point... it's not the latest software that creates the best images, it truly is the artist behind the tool. Terrific work!
That's awesome, I love the compy. The only crit I have is that the backdrop doesn't give the viewer a true appreciation for how small this wee dino is. Otherwise I dig it!
Looks excellent, love the background the textures are very nicely done indeed. dino modeling is also fantastic!
Thanks all, fair crit Kraven...but more so than the background is probably the camera angle I used.....on a realistic scale the centre-of-lens would probably be about one inch off the ground....in retrospect, a more realisitic view would have face down a little more.
your transltion from the sketch is incredible, nice work
