I think I have a discussion of this in the text files of my free packs for V2. God (if he exists) doesn't have a gender. My cousin (on the Jewish side of the family) Jesus was a guy. Since the Pharisees did not accuse him of being Gay it is plausible that he was married, possibly even to Mary Magdalene. It was the duty of a good Jewish man to marry and have children. Since no one accused him of failing in that duty when he was being challenged in other ways...
Well, remember: history is written by the winners. The writers of the Gospels were two, possibly three, generations away from Jesus' time, and all they would have wanted to put in there would be the god stuff. :-)
Is that woman ever going to slide quietly into obscurity? What does gender matter if the message is a good one? Half the Christians in the World don't follow what Jesus said anyway. They have warped the message to suit their own needs and tossed out the rest. In the end the joke is going to be on us.
