Description
I support a little charity called .Grow Peace in Africa, and each year they send a crafty type gift made at the farms.
The tiny seed is hollow with a bone elephant stopper, which i can scarcely focus on nowadays.
I don't think that came from the charity.

Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Great shot Andrea :)
wonderful gifts great capture
If you think focusing on this is difficult imagine creating it. African artists are supernatural. That's a nice textile.
How lovely is that little gift.
Wow, that's amazing work!
great point by Mark. I've seen things like this, and yes, there are many artists on that vast continent who have done stunning creations. I really like the deep hues and how they dominate the fabric in close-up. And your showing a pen really gives perspective. (And it's a good charity, Andrea. I know of it.) I tried, for a month, to do chinese paper cutting---with those intricate designs all cut from a small piece of paper? I nearly lost my mind. So I can appreciate what making that elephant takes...
(And btw, when we studied several African nations' textile and clothes design, I was overwhelmed with their dyes: Some of those cultures get greens and yellows and reds that I swear aren't seen anywhere else on earth. They're just stunning.)
