Description
I am in here to thank all you who have wished me a Happy birthday.
I am very grateful for your good wishes. Thank you so much, friends :-)
We had a succesful and lovely Christmas and Birthday and these day I am trying to recover :) I might be inactive here for a couple of weeks. Will have my son with us from thursday. I dont know what will happen to my eye yet. It certainly hasnt gone better. So it is mostly a slightly blured/foggy world right now. Pretty Frustrating. Just ask Tara. I am so Happy Tara is fine now :)
I wish you all a Very Happy and Healing 2016 with Peace to all.

Excellent exposure. Hope the eye improves.
Horrid to have impaired sight when you are as talented as you are, I hope it gets better very quickly!
Superb capture Helle. Enjoy the time with your family. May your eye sight also get better. God bless.
Thank you so much, dear friend! Your image is full of warm, wonderful light, and feelings. What I hope with my whole heart is, that you eye will heal as soon as possible. Thinking of you, dear friend!
You're very welcome in re your Christmas and Birthday festivities in Denmark, Helle. And, a splendid Thank You card above in response to our good wishes. Love the colors, lighting and contrast effects in this splendid composition. Plus, I sincerely hope that your eye problem(s) dissipate post haste, leaving you fit as a fiddle.
Very nice ... I hope your Christmas was joyful and your new years will be festive but safe!
Fantastic capture my friend and very great image !!!
Thank you very much dear Helle for all the wishes and you will be in my thoughts deeply and in my 'wishes' for the new Year! I truly hope that you heal very soon from your eye !...you deserve this, very much! I love your image. I love the light and the colors. It is a wonderful composition and so nice the bla-bla between the Santa Claus:))) I Wish you a great 2016 with much health and the very best of everything for you and all your loved ones.
Rest up, we can't afford to lose your vision! Enjoy a little break, and may you come back healed and full of energy!
have fun with the son and get well
with everyone else, I wish everything good for your eye when you see the doctor after the holiday. I'm sorry you have to walk around with this problem all the time, esp through the holidays. Your image is a big red-glowing intimate holiday card. It oozes with deep reds and bright yellows. And, through your postwork, it feels like a montage. (Maybe it is, but if it isn't, you made it feel like one.) Love the deep reds of the candle, next to the bright flames. And the swirly hues on that bowl? The rim under the candles? (You know what it looks like? The sides of a roulette table. You guys been gambling??? Do you wear a visor and shout, "Last call: Make your bets!") And I think we're looking at a pastry, beside two santas engaged in (Ana) "bla-bla". (Love that expression.) And cropped for intensity. Beautiful. And it's our pleasure, re the birthday and other wishes: Take care, and heal, and everyone will be thrilled when you can come back healthy. And enjoy the holiday with Dennis!
I hope your eye gets better soon Helle. Take care.
This is very beautiful!
I wish you all the best with your vision problems - hopefully they can get it taken care of. There have been so many advances in eye care over the last several years. I had a completely separated retina in my left eye back in 2007, and they were able to "weld" it back together with a laser. It's doing quite well, now.
I know Tara had some pretty serious eye problems, but like you, I'm glad she's doing better.
Wonderful light and colors. Fantastic shot and presentation!
I'm sorry to be so late! We have been keeping busy, and today is my first time to spend more than about 15 minutes on the computer.
Whatever that is on the tray looks delicious, and makes me wonder if there are any goodies out in the kitchen I might get into! LOL! Of course there aren't, because I didn't make any, but one can always hope. :P
I would wish you good luck and magical improvement for your eye, but as you say, I know how that goes. I WILL wish you the best of luck in getting an early appointment this week, and that they have good things to tell you. :)
