Old cabins speak to me more of history than almost anything else. They're so intimate, so personal. Everything cut and fitted and built by hand, and lived in by the person who did the building. I enjoy history, but the broader the scope, the more abstract it becomes for me. This is the bottom line, isn't it ... one person's life experience. Wonderful shot!
