There was a documentary recently about a young man who has kept the craft of making these alive , for museum restorations.
Fantastic capture!!!
It looks in great shape! Wonderful shot!
you and tara really have the eye for zeroing in on excerpts---this is a whole wheel, but the surrounding makes it feel like an excerpt, and I really like that. The light on the wheel is strong and harsh, its almost the spokes of a machine. Fascinating, captivating stuff. And amazing sight too---that those old wooden things could hold up a whole family and cargo...imagine getting around in that, with Marcos and the dogs! Always great to see you here, Marilyn, with your life and spirit and eye...I hope you can come by more often!
cool
