The first I thought about was night, so yes, it is night, alright. That is also how I see it. Night over the world with all the land and sea and glowing like an Aurora over the globe. And above it all, we see the moon shining so peacefully :) Love it.

You have really come up with another scintillating abstract this time, Mark. As usual, I must depart from the fantasy interpretations of others, and give my pragmatic assessment of this enigma. Simply put, this is either internal bloodstream artery-clogging organisms seen through a microscope, or a deteriorating blue papier-mache object, sitting atop a thin stratum, atop an underground disparate blue and red river.
I could attempt to analysis this image, but I'm afraid I fail the Rorschach test on this one. All I see is a shark chasing Pikachu.
