My kind of plaque!!!!!!!!! This is what I'd make, if I made plaques. Great find! You made my day, Andrea. Now I can go outside, dancing. (It's like a famous gravestone that said, "what're you lookin' at!") Thanks for uploading this---dynamite!
The fact that nothing happened on that particular day is itself significant. :D
Great find!
Lol...priceless
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent!!
Wouldn't this have been much funnier as 1752 due to this date being excluded from the calendar in Britain due to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar to correct the inconsistency between the Old Style and New Style dates. Just saying!
Yes, probably an embarrassing mistake by the makers, too late to go back after casting quantities. No longer available, this could be why!
Great shot Andrea :)
Well SOMETHING happened. After all, they put up the plaque. Fun stuff. I do love whimsy.
LOL! Fun stuff! :)
Awesome shot, That is the sign that should hang in my boss's office.
This is my kind of humour, great find.
LOL!!! What a great find!
LOL !!! Very nice finding Andrea.
Assuming this was actually created in 1782, it reveals a very modern sense of humor for that time. Given the bad news we're bombarded with constantly these days, it would be great to hear this from one day from our newscasters...
Ha Ha!! I LOVE this, Andrea! Wonderful find and shot!
Greta find and capture Andrea. God bless.
LOL someone spent a lot of money to put up this unique and interesting plaque !
Looks like it has been there for some time, great find, thanks for sharing Andrea.
