I wrestled with making an appropriate image for such a shocking world changing event.
Here is my other effort.

As a Parisian (I was born in Paris & spent my first 5 years there), I thank you for your thoughts & for creating this lovely, tapestry-like image...
Beautifully done, and wholly appropriate.
This says it all, I think you made it excellent, Andrea.
ditto the above...images are so hard for these events, there really isn't anything we can do in one image to touch the hugeness of these massacres...but your furling tapestry (ala claude---a native Parisian) is beautiful, esp as it's the French flag turning this pastoral flower field into a heartful sea of caring and embrace. I see your postwork, which makes it even more into a quilt or silk. And it's like the flag is showing the beautiful French countryside in its furls. Beautiful, Andrea, our hearts go out to your neighboring country-people, and let's hope that the maddened carnage will finally stop.
This is perfection - artfully and respectfully done.
Lovely image dedications for France.
Beautifully done Andrea :)
I am at a loss for words. Beautiful and moving.
Marvelous tribute !!!
Beautifully done for Remembrance on the 11th and the carnage in Paris this week
Wonderfully done
Beautifully done, Andrea...
Both are so well done Andrea.
What a beautiful tribute and dedication for France.
