Miho and I were out for an adventure across the great desert. She needed to do some survey so we decided to tough it out and drive through the desert to the location she needed to visit. It had been hot ! Miho had covered her head with a scarf to protect herself from sun as well as sand. Temperatures had been around 49 to 50 degree Celsius, but with the distant storm brewing, temperatures had come down considerably. We had stopped in the middle of nowhere to take a break. Miho was eating her sandwich and I was busy taking photographs of her =) !
About this render:
This is my 100th image upload so thought do something more than usual. This scene actually started with that scarf. It was a genesis prop that I had never used before. Wondering what to render, I was digging through my content library until I found that. I auto fit that onto Miho and she looked really cute. Then had to adjust it to cover Miho's hair using the built in morphs. After doing that I realized I had widened it too much and it no longer framed her face or looked good. So undid everything and toke Miho, her hair and the scarf into ZBrush to push the hair in as well as tweak the scarf a bit. The result was was you see in the render. Once this was done, immediately a desert scene came to mind. I had to look for a vehicle to put Miho in. Found a jeep prop that also had a sand dune landscape prop. So it fit perfectly with what I wanted to do. Once I posed Miho in that general way, the 'break time' theme came to mind. I added the sandwich, water bottle, googles and satellite radio. Placed them over the bonnet and adjusted Miho's fingers over the water bottle and the scene looked complete. The background clouds is something I did in Vue. I was actually trying to create a HDR image in Vue to use in Octane, but was having problems with it so decided to just use it as a sky texture for the time being until I figure out what is wrong with using it as HDR in Octane.

Cool result, the extra Zbrush tweaking works a treat, but I thought the sandwich was a burger and I was trying to figure out where there would be a burger stand in the desert...LOL
