Fine shot of the city through some trees & brush, with an appealing range of colors & darks & lights. But who stole all the windows from that building?

Nice capture of the Fountain grass, contrasted against the various bushes and trees, themselves contrasted against the the bluish tinted structures in the background, Mark. You do these so well with their vast depth and the combination of Chicago nature and artificiality.

Oooh, this is a very deceptive shot; it looks simple and straightforward at first, but then there's that background, like a painted backdrop stuck in to hide the darkness and decay that must really be there. Don't know how you got the buildings to look like that, but it's fantastic. You're better than you think!

A lush and refreshing planting, in the proximity of those hideous loomers.

A wilderness in the city, how cool. Not something I would have expected in a town like Chicago. City parks are always so well groomed.

Others have already said what I was thinking. A beautiful corner of autumn flora and fauna in contrast with the stark steel and glass of the cityscape in the background. Beautifully composed and captured.

I love the gardens of Chicago. It seems like every square inch that isn't used for something else is a lush planting. Of course I've only been there in the fall, but still ... it's just gorgeous. This is a terrific example of that sort of thing. Beautiful!

This is a great shot, and so full of life! That waving plumes, all the razor-sharp textures of different plants and flowers. And I also like the contrast with the background buildings. It gives a true picture of a big city, and in between all the stone, an oasis to suddenly discover. As a "sentimental journey".
