Nezo stepped through the Apeirogon door and bumped his head. "Ow, did this thing shrink?" asked Nezo mumbling to himself and rubbing his head. He took a step and stumbled over a rock, his legs felt wrong and he tripped again. The air was thin and he had to stop walking, he had learned the Apeirogon door had a safety feature of maybe fifteen feet to keep him from stepping onto an airless world-the door kept an atmosphere directly around itself to allow the traveler to turn back. Nezo stared at the world he had just arrived on, it was barren and dead. The symbol above the doorway indicated this was an ocean world, but whatever oceans had been here were long gone. He scratched at his chin, it was itchy, and was a little alarmed that his chin had... hair? "What's going on?" said Nezo, pulling at the hair, but it was attached to his chin and wouldn't come off. "Hey, this isn't my hand... and this isn't my arm... hey, I have muscles." Nezo squeezed at his muscles, they were big and thick, and his legs were longer, and his clothing tight and uncomfortable. He took a breath to calm himself and looked up at the night sky. There were nearly no stars in the sky, and everything looked so old. Everything felt stretched and wrong. His mind raced with possibilities. "I'm big now, older, but how? Atan said he made me almost immortal, not completely, but almost." The shimmering of the sky drew his attention again and he watched, trying to understand what had happened. He felt a moment of vertigo, the universe was moving, the whole of space was moving, and the few stars that were in the sky blinked out one by one. "How far did I go to have aged even this much?" wondered Nezo, then felt a stab of fear. He ran back to the door and jumped through. His body returned to normal and he looked back through the door, trembling slightly. He retrieved the piece of charcoal from his pocket, it was nearly gone, used up writing messages on all the doors he had visited so far. Nezo wrote on the door and turned away to find another door, leaving the message behind for other travelers, this door was not one he would ever want to visit again. 'Warning... End of the Universe'
