Description
On our first day in Prague, we took a short tour (offered as part of our cruise package) called "The Secrets of Prague". One of the "secret" places pointed out to us by our local guide was the Wallenstein Palace & it's gardens. It happened to be closed that day, but we returned the following day & we found it was well worth the visit (& as a bonus, it's one of the few attractions that's completely free). There was quite a lot to see there & I took a bunch of photos, which I have just started to go through & will post over the next few days.
Wallenstein Palace & it's gardens were constructed in the early 17th century. This pond was stocked with quite a few very large fish, as well as ducks...
Please zoom.

I like the clumps of grass you used as a foreground ... they're the perfect visual anchor for that massive building, giving us a little breathing room. Superb composition!
What a lovely pond! Spectacular shot!
ditto tara and denise, and ditto on the clumps of grass and how they anchor the shot (tara). A sweeping angle on the building; and of course what makes this so eye catching is your deep hues, the deep greens, the beautiful red-oranges of the rooflines, the amber-yellow trim, etc. Your pov flattens the island in the center to make it harmonize with the lines, and the sky calms everything. Another example of how you find the inner light in a scene, and coax it out in hues, contrasts, pov, etc. There are even people back there, a little adornment to the whole...
Well worth the zoom! There seem to be a huge number of peopl in this 'secret' place!
Wonderful capture my friend. God bless.
