A wonderful gothic example
a dramatic capture of the 'apse' of this beautiful cathedral. (Not enough opportunities to say 'apse', is there...) You show us, opulently, that the east end of a Gothic Cathedral is a cupped thing, a big domed thing that hovers over us and protects us on our journey to Jerusalem...(the apse is supposed to point to Jerusalem). You captured it as just what it's supposed to be; a grand capture. And your deep shadows and honey-tinged yellows make it very rich, opulent. But you wanted us to see the stained glass triptych: It's beautifully clear here, and vivid as it was intended to be, with deep and vivid hues, and lots of light. Isn't stained glass a great thing? Art which depends on light to complete it? Beautifully shot, with deep golden glows, and another very intense architectural capture from you...
Absolutely glorious!
How beautiful! And what an incredible amount of workmanship has gone into this!
Wonderful capture my friend. God bless.
