Super bloom Andrea :)
Beautiful flower,wonderful capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How lovely! I've only gotten to see and smell these once and they are heavenly!
Gay Sue is very beautiful, love the name.
I first saw these when I used to watch Japanese movies as a student. They usually appeared as props in tragic love stories. I found it interesting and a little puzzling that any plant would flower in the winter. This is a lovely close up.
Aw what a beauty here, and the buds look awesome in the other photo.
Wonderful camera work as always Andrea.
Wonderful photo and flower !!
A lovely bloom Andrea and something to warm the winter.
a wonderful winter-bloom
oooh, what a sumptuous shot. And that flickr shot looks like a dessert! A real beauty. THis is beautiful, Andrea, and In zoom we can see the postwork in the background...in fact, everything is postworked but the flower. It adds a painterly effect, kind of a 'cushion'. But that bloom---beautiful, recessive, quiet, and sensual. A beautiful capture, Andrea. Reflective and delicate.
(And when you speak of winter blooms, I have to remind myself that you're going into winter too. That sounds idiotic, I know, like "what universe do YOU live in, Mark?" But some days I wake up thinking that every continent has its own seasons. It's early morning here, these things happen. I think it's all part of my being 66...)
what a gorgeous beauty! amazing and wonderful detailed closeup! ;o)
She's a stunner, and she has a scent too? I never knew that about camellias. Beautiful!!!
Wonderful capture Andrea. God bless.
