Description
The "Least Sandpiper" (Calidris minutilla) is the world's smallest of all the sandpipers (and shorebirds), not much bigger than a sparrow. I was amused to learn that these birds are called "peeps". They have yellow legs instead of dark legs, which helps with ID.
