Description

Every North American insect admirer known these beautiful butterflies are sacred and revered because they are so very endangered. Honestly, I haven't seen this many Monarchs going through town in one day in 20 years !!! ...(there were dozens of them) What can I say - it's a good thing to be on the migratory route to their wintering grounds in Mexico!! Needless to say, I was elated. :D Image is large - do zoom to admire their rare beauty. Thank you very much for your views and comments.

Have you read "Flight Behavior" by Barbara Kingsolver? She's an amazing writer, and this novel gives you front-and-center on monarch butterflies. Looking at your pictures, I can see why they are so mesmerizing. Beautiful!
