Description
I've finally got all the new tables installed, and am partially up and running. I still have several things to do, but the biggest part of this job is - thankfully - done.
The wiring was an adventure, and getting all the tables to line up just right was more of a challenge than I was expecting. I'm totally exhausted! :-P But things are moving along, and I look to be 100% back in the mix by the end of the week - just in time for our trip to South Dakota!
I'll have another update tomorrow, and hope to be back to commenting on your wonderful art!

Oh I hate wires at least you are just working with Ac outlets and power supplies you' ll have it all working in no time not like me and my car please see my next post

Nice photos illustrating your work. But, my, this looks very orderly compared to my kitchen. Want a photo of it? Er, I don't think so. The wiring looks very orderly compared to the rat's nest behind my computer. Kitty has tried to pass though, but without success, so she now avoids it. Your photos inspire me to try creating a little order in my jungle. I'm impressed with the montage! Keep up the good work! :-)

I never cease to be amazed ... older 2 wire house systems can be a big challenge, when converting to newer 3 wire technology.
One lesson that has stuck with me is to try and focus all the grounding on a single (cold water pipe) location... I expect all the 2 wire cable is firmly stapled to wall studs, so getting into that would be a bag of worms for sure.
... looks like you will have a terrific cockpit for your space adventure room :)
You're going to need a vacation after this little adventure. I looked at that old plug and shivered just imagining what was in the wall. It is shaping up quite nicely. You either have a very understanding wife or you sent her ahead to the Dakotas so she wouldn't see any of this. Congratulations on the new Starship Bridge!

I can't wait to see your next update, but I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing this in person soon! I hope you know what you're doing with all those wires! LOL! I'd burn the house down for sure if I tried that. Are you going to have a way to hide the wires when you're all done? I can just hear Jo ... "Rodney! I hope you're planning on cleaning all this up yourself!" LOL! Give her my love. I'm looking forward to hearing her side of the story! :P

better to have a ground wire than not. every since I put my work station together my keyboard shelf would not slide in all the way because of the being too tight. yesterday I finally removed it to widen the space
I also noted that you do the same as I: a power strip plugged into a better power strip. great progress
