A really great shot of the raindrops on the car. Look like little pearls :) I hope yu will have the rain they promised :)
Well I'm back for a longer session, I hope at least an hour. I'm picking up in late september, not because I've done everything prior, but because I wanted to comment on some of your more recent pieces instead of going back several months (as I often do).
You've given us a number of car surfaces playing with the sun, rain, dew, etc. And each one is a whole world all its own. This one has such large drops, it's almost like it's blistered---like chrome that's been blistered by the sun. I love the dark droplets, how they contrast with the brighter ones. (Little pearls, as Helle says.) And you have rivers here too, or "pathways" in the midst of the drops. And a big swath of intense sun, near the back of the trunk.
And your fading of the background is terrific. You captured a mystery, esp with that dark human lurking back there: He/she is wearing a hood, like a mysterious dark spirit. I know the hood is to protect him/her from the rain, but it makes for a foreboding figure---emerging out of a diffuse foggy background light. A wonderful mystery-laden shot, with your usual sharp detail...a wonderful capture of water on a surface. The lowest portion seems like the water was put there by hand. Another terrific study from you.
