Description

An acrylic painting on canvas. My wife likes lighthouses. We don't live on the coast near any lighthouses so we rarely get to see them. I wanted to paint her something original rather than an actual existing lighthouse. I did a lot of research of photos and other lighthouse artwork and came up with this custom design. I used to paint quite a bit when I was a young man. I let it fall to the wayside in favor of other hobbies and challenges of everyday life (I gotta have some messy space to do painting). I have finally begun to come back to it and this is the first full piece. As you can guess from looking at this, I am very much out of practice. I have missed out on too many years of developing my painting skills. I wish I had not done that.
