Love this composition Tara and a super shot too.
I thought they seemed familiar. It is wonderful to see how each of you made such different photos of the same place: I love that. The same magic happens if a group of folk go out painting or drawing together.
A very nice scene but one with a certain melancholy about it. Maybe its your title but I can image two scenarios. "George and Martha used to sit in front of the fountain every afternoon. Then Martha passed away and George stopped coming" Or, "I waited for him but he never came so I finally left." And then, of course, he shows up but she is not there. Two empty chairs, lots of possible stories.

This does look so familiar for some odd reason, LOL! I love how you got the shadows from the trees looming over the chairs as if the branches themselves were there. Well done!

This is such an elegant composition. It seems to have a kind of Asian sensibility - in the same way all the elements in Japanese gardens are meticulously designed to fit together harmoniously. Though all your photos are finely crafted, this one really stands out for me as a masterpiece...
