True Beauty
Beauty can come from the heart,
Or can only be just skin deep.
Some of us are like angels to people,
While others may act like a creep.
When our eyes behold true beauty,
I wonder just what do we see?
Reaching deep within our heart is
Where our mind will find that key.
Beauty can be our deep felt love
For a friend or family member.
These feelings always remains with us,
And are what we forever remember.
When beauty is only superficial,
It doesn’t have a chance to last.
This false beauty vanishes so soon
From that spell it has tried to cast.
True beauty is always a lasting vision,
That never fades with passing time.
It is ageless and only gets much better ,
As a state that remains eternally sublime.
When searching for true beauty,
We should look to The Lord above.
His blessings are everlastingly pure
And as beautiful as snow white doves.
