Looks like you are having no luck with this one Richard and I can't tell you either.
Sorry, no clue, but what a beautiful flower! These red thingys are cool!
Sorry, I not know. But very beautiful!
Really good question. The filaments give impression of safran flowers. But it's too much longer; and not the kind of life (or color) for safran flower. The difference between yellow and red of flowers is superb; perhaps to say to bees "come on!" lolll Have a good day!
Beautiful flower and great capture! Wat's a name?
Fantastice flowers.

Caesalpinia gilliesii is a shrub in the legume family and is commonly known as Bird of Paradise. A lovely photo!

Lovely flower! Great capture!
Well, I had no idea what it was until I saw Dana's comment - Like Aelin, I thought it must be Saffron or related to saffron. It's used as a spice - and a pretty pricey one at that. But in any case- it's a lovely shot of this Bird of Paradise, Richard!
Interesting plant.
How great that Dana was able to ID this for you... it is a very beautiful plant!
Gorgeous capture, love it!
