Description
Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop
Over in the Vue Galleries Group on Facebook I received a gift from Vue Guru Barry Marshall of one of his new Solid Growth plants to try out in my Vue8Frontier. This is part of a new pack of plants he is about to debut, and I was curious if it would work in my older version of Vue...after some trial and error mapping the leaf texture I saved it as a Solid Growth plant and brought a few into the scene, along with a few other plants, some Dirty Nature ground litter and a tree from the Mystic Trees set, all from Cornucopia3D. I added the Daz Dragonfly and rendered with the default Daylight atmo with global radiosity. Most of the postwork was done within Vue, but I added a bloom effect and out of focus filter in Photoscape, and signature and resizing in Photoshop. Thanks to Barry for his generosity and thanks for taking a look!

Nice! I doubt any of this (other than the dragonfly) would work in Vue 5 Easel. I think it's time to upgrade.
Magnificent done my friend!!Bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx Whylma
wonderful job the dragon fly came out particularly well did you edit its textures?
Thanks, yes I used the texture map to drive the bump which helped sell the realism, especially in the wings!
Excellent detail.
Sweet image, very nice job...Love it!!!
Marvelous render!!
Very cool.
Excellent! The image has a nice three dimensional look to it, I image from the postwork.
