A noble son of Cadsandria, Argimiliar's free-wheeling capital and the greatest center of learning outside Imrryr of Melnibone, Mordoc is a priest of Donblas the justice maker, and wields the potent "staff of dawn". The real driving force behind the "Donblas Pride" and her antagonism in the campaign, he is a true fanatic; determined to oppose chaos when and were ever he finds it. For those unfamiliar with Michael Moorcock's work, in the Young Kingdoms the higher powers (i.e. gods) are not divided into groups of "good" and "evil", but into "law" and "chaos"; with both groups representing aspects of both good and evil. While most people would assume that law, representing order and stability, equates to good, it also represents oppression and stagnation. Chaos, which does include disorder and anarchy, also fosters creativity and opportunity. These where revolutionary concepts in the early '60s when Moorcock wrote the Elric/Stormbringer series of novels. This is the last of the characters in this series... so far.
