Imposing against that luminous blue sky; you even managed a contrail in the shot for diagonal interest. Well done!!
when I see American series with helicopters of Police, I still think that the ndanger this for their passengers, the meeting with cables hanging from pylons such !!! very impressive !!! excellent title and shot !!!
An Electrifying Capture!!!
I'm shocked I tell you, shocked...by that brilliant blue sky. Very fitting title. When I was little these monstrous towers always made me think they were monsters or some sort. Thankfully, I was wrong.
WOW! They are huge. And again, everything in USA is Larger than anything else. The houses the cars etc :) so why not the power towers :) Love the fantastic blus sky.
I always read Denise, who gives 1000 percent to everything she sees of yours. But it's also great to read helle, who, in addition to her wonderful observations, brings a Dane's eye to it---I love her reaction to the hugeness of this---I can't picture these in Denmark! (You've seen her landscape shots---I don't think I've ever seen one tower like this. They probably don't have them in Europe.)
This is a shot that demands zoom. The glitter of the towers is so much clearer in zoom. (Imagine how much more you can do when you post a 2 MB original---assuming they still allow that.) And the interplay of lines---both tower and wires---is much clearer too. As is the background sets of wires, etc. You caught it with some real contrasts---the low wires cutting across at the bottom; and the chunk in the upper left corner. And the contrails cutting across the towers and wires---Denise pointed that out. (She always points out key things in your work.) You got just the right moment here---those contrails complete the "fugue". And you caught a very rich blue sky, with just enough trees at bottom to root the piece. Another fine tower shot from you, and it has a gentle jewel-like sheen too.
