Description
this scene is a recreation (with in the limits of my skills in vue)of the bus stop near the cottage we stayed at in Aberystreth in wales ,in fact the texture for the road and pavement are from the photos i took for the purpose the grass and plants contains the (as near as possible)the same 12 plants and grasses that were growing there.the bus shelter is very similar though not exactly the same and i have no better bus model than this one.buses only ran every 2 hours hence all the time i had to note the details!(my wife thought I was crazy)rendered in vue 2015 set up took 2 days but the render only too 55 mins at enhanced final quality and using photometric lighting.
thanks for stopping by to take a look

At first I thought this was a photograph. It wasn't until I read your comment I realized it was a 3D render in Vue... Your Vue skills are second to none... Outstanding and delightful realistic work....5++++ And an instant favorite without even thinking about it... Stellar work my friend...
Wow...this is amazingly photorealistic...fantastic attention to details, and great lighting too!
Another amazing photorealistic image!
Excellent piece of work - but a pity you didn't have a Welsh bus!
I was sure this was a photograph! Brillant work! The contrast between nature and "civilisation" is awesome!
Good result for a huge work!
Very well done.
very nice indeed. Devil is in the details, in this one is pretty good. Thank you.
Nice recreation. The composition is unusual as well, which is probably because you wanted to get the plants into the image. Nice lighting too.
Wow! Excellent work, looks real!
Impressive work
great
I agree with every ones comments, for all the non artistic types (i.e., your wife) who do not know the joy in all the details and time spent in creating a work of art they will never understand it's a good kind of Crazy!
Awesome recreation !
Fantastic image! I thought it was a photo at first. Outstanding work!
Very convincing! Nice work and attention to detail. Great idea to use the genuine textures. Great piece of work and art.
Love the lighting in this scene and the overgrown details. Bravo.
Great recreation! Love the lighting!
Your level in Vue has no limit... Bravo
Fantastic ! So real and life like.... I need to learn about taking photos and trying to use them as textures as well as you have done here.... The whole scene looks so real... Love it !
