Well this isn't actually Point Sublime (France- Gorges du Verdon) but I am looking at it from above.
The Gorges du Verdon are without any doubt the most beautiful Gorges of France, well imo.
They are situated in the South-East of France in the Provence region.
What you see here is in fact a dry seabed from limestone that is lifted upwards for many and many mlllion years. It is therefor that often sea related fossiles are found in the region.
