Description
This unusual combination captured 7/14/15 @ 9:13 am, at the entrance to an auto body shop about half a mile from home.
Have they no sense of decorum? At least they could have placed the cover so that it coordinates with the arrow.

LOL!!!
This is art ob observation !! Great capture and very conceptual image result !!!!
Well seen!
Well spotted, Harry. Interesting combination of geometrics.
Apparently they didn't care to put it back where it came from! I guess the workmen who left it that way don't suffer from OCD...well spotted and a great capture, Harry!
A really excellent capture. I do like this simplicity :)
Perfect abstract. Good idea.
splendid!!! Clear, simple, sharp detail, and framed to bring out the in-your-face abstractiong of the thing. I love the find, and I love the way you present it. Your highlights in the street match the white of the arrow, and the your composition sets it all into balance with itself. And the collision of the arrow with the manhole cover is perfect, and fits together like a snug 'couple' because of your tight cropping and very even lighting and texture. Love this shot. I agree with Giuliano (giulband) that it's great art of observation. (I think he meant "of" observation, and not "ob".) Another first rate piece of abstraction from you, all taken from the everyday. (Do you know how often I've tried to get shots like this, and failed? You're a complete natural at it, Harry.)
