Description
The real title of this photo was 'Street photographer - Melbourne Australia'.
Occasionally, people will say to me 'She's hardly a real photographer, she's using a &%^%&$$&$% iphone etc etc'. To me, photography is more about using one's 'eye' and imagination rather than the kit they own. I always use Canon SLR's, but that is because my old lenses fit the new bodies etc and I am accustomed to them rather than because it's one of the 'big' brands'
Is she a 'real' photographer?

Of course she is and a very pretty one at that.
I had an Kodak P260 Pro all those years ago it was good nice clean image done weddings with it now days I use Cannon D40 with an range of Lens is it any better dose it give me better image's It is not the kit that makes the photo it is the eye of the person taking the photo
Of course! you don't need penis extensions to take decent pics.
Technology is a part of our world - a huge percentage of folks use smart phones and that's their choice to choose this device for their art and view of the world around them. For my part, I'll stick with my own kit, as I don't own a smart phone and have no desire to own one.
Superb capture my friend. I will stay with my camera equipment. It does not mean that i will take pictures with my cell phone though. Not that i am planning to own a i phone of any sort. God bless.
It matters not what equipment you use to get the picture: film digital, glass plate or whatever. it is the process by which the mind, the eye see a scene and therefore captures it and can with minimal postwork (if need be), present it to others to enjoy. in other words, YES! she is a photographer - she's using a camera
and she is quite lovely as well
What does she think, I wonder? If she calls herself a photographer then she is one...
some "smart" phones can take quality pictures. imagination and intuition plays a big part making a fine photo. too bad I am very short on both, so I have to fake
She may not be a professional because she is using a cell but everybody is a photographer!
No... She plans on putting what she takes on facetube.. Its a phone, if she had any interest in actually taking 'real' photos, she's have some kind of camera, any kind! See my last post, sorry but phones bug me and I don't own one or a laptop are a any kind of tech device except a desktop PC and a digital camera, that's it.. Tech has ruined the world.. Rob
I'd say yes mate.
As time and technology moves on why limit what you use. Otherwise we'd all be using cameras from the 1800's and standing still while our picture is taken.
