June 7, 2015
I took these photos on June 7, the same day I took my earlier post of flowers. They are so small and beautiful. Anyone know what they are called?
Unfortunately, these past 2 weeks there's been some very heavy rain which has spoiled most of them. Sigh. They were very beautiful while they lasted. I often marvel at the richness of nature in both quantity as well as diversity.

I have no idea of the real name, but I would just call them beautiful. One of my favorite school teachers had these in her yard. I helped her plant them one day in 1970. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.

Truly beautiful little flowers, though i have no clue what these are called! Most of the time i'm unaware of what i'm photographing, i just call it pink flower, red flower, blue flower ... 8=)

I think (and don't quote me here) they are Hawthorn, or something in that species.. You'll get berries later.. good shot mate, beautiful aren't they.. Further to your comment on my TRS2 post, tell your Government NOT to buy that over priced heap of crap the American's want everyone to buy (for obvious reasons) as it still does not work.. we got rid of Harriers because of this super Strike Fighter that is SO far behind we will now have carriers with no planes??!!?? The Helmet does not work properly, the engines over heat, the stealth isn't! The list goes on.. we should buy more Typhoons and re-gig for Harriers again 9but back handers have no doubt taken place on an industrial scale so... Good luck over there coz we are F****d! Rob
