Outstanding captures my friend and incredible car... I love these colors also !
I also love that paint job, and the engine is so pretty that the hood really needs to be up all the time to show it off! Fantastic series of shots of this beauty, Harry!
excellent capture...very big modell !!!
That surely is a beast of an engine, looks way to big for the car.. Impressive! Rob
well I looked up John Willys, and however good a businessman he was, he either took tons of acid or he had one wild sense of color. I love these designs. It seems similar (or identical) to the other Willys Coupes---is the green one on the left the same as you showed us in your gallery? looks like it. But man, that paint job! I don't know if this is how the car was originally made, or if the present owner went to town with it: But it makes a helluva series of shots. You got great light on it---from the white on the roof and back to the sheen on the front. And your first shot gives us a lot of info for one shot, allowing us to see the engine, that amazing dayglo front, the hood (looks like a big totem bird from the Pacific Northwest Indians) to the humpback middle and back. I love the flag chair in the background---such a combo of sights. The middle shot lets us see just how much this does look like a Pacific Northwest Totem animal. You softened the background just right, to bring forth that sneering face. And the bottom shot is a ganglia of clean pure engine-stuff: Love how they look in these shows; and you got lots of clarity in it, given how many things there were to capture. A beautiful car, and a wonderful set of captures. And something I may never see again, in my life.
