Description
Captured 9/19/11, early morning, again somewhere around the neighborhood.
Like, it has seen better days, although some cleaning up, fixing the oil leaks, and a fresh paint job could do wonders. I don't know, maybe the engine is shot to hell also.
Farvel.

AMazing truck and very great shot !
They say if walls could talk, but I recon if vehicles could talk that one would have many a tale to tell.
A philosopher of the first water.
Well, it's certainly seen a lot of action! I haven't seen one of these in more years than I can count. The tires are in great shape, which leads me to think that the engine is probably also in better condition than the body, and it's the engine that counts, right? Great find and portrait of this rare and elusive beast!
Gosh, I haven't seen one of those in years. We had an International pickup, but it was a 1933 model, just a tad older. :)
I love all these 'cute' worn out beasts you've been posting! I loved this the minute it went up. It looks like one of the dogs I had when I was in my 20s. It's like one of those trucks of which bigger trucks say, "don't underestimate that dude: He may be small, but he's freakin' tough!" You caught the rusted surface in all its glory, I love the painting that age has made on the metal. And it's angled just right, and the suspension reveals those big wheels---I'll take Denise's word for it that they're in great shape, though it looks like they've got some cobwebs on them, indicating that maybe it's not driven very often. A fine job with a feisty old runt; and your composition sets it off just right. I think this is an endearing shot. More fine work with these little fierce beasts...
