Description

An example of my work "outside the computer". It's an airbrush painting, which I made several years ago, before being absorbed in the making of "artificial art" ;o) Airbrush, acrylics on paper. I'm considering remaking this one in Poser/Bryce, seems very suitable for it. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome.

Nice airbrush work!! I tried to master the airbrush many years ago but thankfully Photoshop came along just in time. Digital art may be 'artificial' but it beats the hell out of cutting masks from Frisk film, setting up a compressor and constantly refilling the paint holder on an airbrush.

this is a very fine work. Love the atmosphere, and the technique is sharp. Good job :)

Thanks for your nice comments. - Rockatansky: I agree about "real" airbrushing being a messy affair, in part that's why I haven't done it so much since Photoshop and the likes came along. And in fact I don't think there's anything wrong with digital art - if I did, why would I make it ;o)
