Perhaps you might remember Archimedes Watson and Herman, his android creation and now partner. They came under the protection of Skylard and Reed's Benevolent Trust last year after some criminal elements tried stealing Herman. It has been awhile since we visited them. I wonder what they have been up to? Archimedes Watson and his lab assistant and creation, Herman, are reminiscing about how far Herman has progressed from when Achimedes, or Archie as his friends now call him, first put is base configuration together. Once Archie had the inspiration to fashion a gel circuitry brain, Herman's abilities flew off the charts. He quickly became an invaluable lab assistant to Archie, after he was returned from the thieves. Their collaboration on new ideas to benefit humanity have seen many wonderful applications in medicine, industry, and agriculture. Not only have they been able to design methods to help correct genetic defects in humans, their explorations in horti- culture have led to new, entirely natural ways to raise crops, without any genetic manipulation. They even developed a cheap to build engine that produces very little pollution and can be used in transportation, power generation and some space applications. And now, we come to today's conversation. It has been a couple weeks since Herman has placed his brain into his latest body. He is adapting to it very nicely and is pleased with the fit. Archie kids him about not putting any cosmetic skin to cover his obvious robotic construction, but Herman loves the idea of who he is and prefers to leave no doubt in anyone's mind just what he is. Reed and Skylar's Trust has benefited the most from all of Archie and Herman's research. They have been very generous too with sharing this newfound knowledge with the rest of the world. But there could be trouble brewing on the horizon. Not everyone is happy with the way things are going.
