I hope this works..... The internet connection where we're staying is beyond pathetic... I think dial-up would be a big improvement!
Anyway, here's a view I captured earlier today with the Inspire 1. This was about 178 feet up. I wasn't up for too long, as there were a bunch of really big birds starting to take an interest in the Inspire. When we get home, I'll be posting a video to either YouTube or Vimeo, and you'll get the see them.
I'll also be getting caught up on comments.
Tomorrow (weather permitting) I'm going to try and get some shots and video at Haha Tonka State Park. This flight was during a brief break in the weather - it's been pretty spotty most of today.

Ha Ha Tonka is a great place. You will be able to get some super photos with your "toy". We lived at the lake for about 10 years near the Hurricane Deck bridge (Sunrise Beach, Mo.) Miss the lake a bunch in the summer...........not so much in the winter. LOL

Rod, you did an outstanding job on this amazing capture.
We were there last fall, but didn't get to see the area from this perspective! :P I remember HaHa Tonka as being one of the first places you flew your original 'copter, and that was what inspired us to visit the area. Enjoy your vacation! :)

Seeing your shots from your "Inspire" puts my mind in the real sense of its name : inspiration...and then, flying with it pushes me to the dream a certain Icare did...in its meliorative sense lol !
This is a very impressive view Rod, you did well to get that high.. I was a the 3 Queens Event in Liverpool at the weekend, there were drones everywhere even though Helicopters were flying about, stupid and downright dangerous.. I have heard that there are laws about come into place here to restrict the use of them.. We'll see.. From what I saw, sooner the better.. You use it responsibly by the look of things.. Rob
