Description
I lost my friend Sano three weeks ago. He was very sick and died during the night. He was at an animal hospital and would have had some tests to see how sick he really was but it was too late.
I did not have time to mourn him then as I had to fly to another state to visit my mother who was in the hospital in critical condition. Fortunately she has gotten better and is making a very good recovery.
After two days of being back home, I got sick and recovered partly but not well enough and had to go to the hospital myself. I'm home now and resting on doctors orders.
What a whirlwind of events! So now that I have some time, I am mourning my little friend. Rest in peace.

Awwww! I know how you feel. So cute and alert. I lost my 3 little ratties last year. I now have my Kitty (black, white underside and paws - a common house cat). After an appropriate period of mourning, get yourself another cat so you're not alone with your sadness. Kitty helped me past my ratties passing, though I still miss Blackie after the past 6 months. My condolances. :-(

Don't worry, Big Red in my avatar will keep Sano company and take care of him. He raised a puppy, so I'm sure he is helping others! Sano will be happy and would want you to be happy also! Cats are like that!

I know how you feel; I lost my moggie 'Biscuit' just over 16 weeks ago, before her 19th birthday. Leaves a gap ... Best wishes.
