Fantastic Capture!!! Healthy Looking Flowers!!!
Harry, it's an hour and I'm going to have to stop for tonight, but I came here and saw that Denise hadn't arrived yet! This is SUCH a rare occurrence, I had to comment before she got here. (See, Denise? I got here first! Nyaa nyaa nyaa!) (I'm really mature, aren't I?) Ok, so I gotta move fast in case she sneaks under the wire. (Wait till I'm finished! Give me me moment of glory---then leave your terrific comments...) This is more of your 8 to 9 a.m. light, and I really like what you do with it. The flowers are bold and splashy, as sunflowers always are (the showoffs of the flower kingdom), and that top shot captures their big showoff faces, with those big beautiful green leaves. Real sunflower stuff. (I also like the car back there, and the garage too...a nice framing to the whole.) In the second shot, we see the backs, where they're not so splashy, but seem like fans lined up behind a rail to see their favorite rock band. Beautiful light on them, and on the leaves. A scintillating pair; and you really caught the big bold splashy feel of sunflowers. (They were Van Gogh's favorite flower.) A fine pair, Harry, you got their essence, for sure. (Ok, I'm gonna post this---please don't show up yet, Denise! I gotta get in one comment per season, before Denise! Here goes, I'm holding my breath...)
Ha! I did it! I'll be back soon, for more...
Pretty sunflowers, Harry! I love how they turn to face the sun.
AHHH! Sunflowers! I love sunflowers and these are so gorgeous.... hmm..I wonder what they are staring at on the lower shot?.. Oh yes of course... the sun ;-P
Rats! Mark beat me to it...and he stole all the good words, too, so I have to use the dull ones. I'll get even one day... This pair of shots is fantastic, Harry, and go perfectly as a pair, like the sound of a fire engine coming and going up the street, changing the tone depending on their position in your hearing. It's a wonderful crop of sunflowers this home has going, and they are so beautifully caged behind bars so they can't go charging up the street and take over all the other gardens. Marvelous lighting and packed full of colour and texture!
I love these flowers.. Marvelous captures also !!!
splendid captures of sunflowers on different orientations !!! des soleils sur Terre !!!
Like a Triffid always follows sounds, Sunflowers always follow the sun's passing.. Lovely shot mate. Rob
