Description
Captured 4/17/15 @ 8:06 am, in front of the local 99+ Cent store.
The '99 cent' labels on the carts are for the name of the store, and not the price of a cart, which can be relatively humongous.
Totziens.

We have something that claims to be a dollar store (but there's stuff in it that costs more than a dollar)... no cool purple carts though!
Those certainly are some colorful carts, Harry.
I love that colour for the carts, at least when you see one you immediately know where it came from! Carts of a colour flock together? Not the rhyming nicety that one is used to when hearing it referring to birds...great find and excellent shot, Harry!
yes I can imagine these carts would cost an arm and a leg, but boy are they a great sight in this shot. You captured carts like these before, and it was another terrific shot. Here, they're lined up like they're in a Busby Berkley film (lined up to jump in one of his city-sized pools). The light is harsh and unforgiving, making them pop out at us, esp against the white part of that wall. And the shadows are all crammed under and behind the carts (unforgiving 8 a.m. shadows!) which intensifies the scene. With some strong abstract criss cross in the right background...Another popping shot of these creatures, from you; and that green (on the carts)---captured with dayglo intensity---really set off the purple. Fine work, Harry, once more.
I've never seen this color on a shopping cart... unique to be sure. Nice find, Harry!
