Sweet and soft with eggs lying on hair and feathers. Superb shot, Andrea :)
How beautiful! They look like little jelly beans. I hope they make it through...
With your furry children about she certainly doesn't lack for nesting material. It must be a wonderful experience to be able to witness this. A terrific capture of this nursery in waiting.
the parents will have to work a lot, feeding 8 of them ! great shot
Wow! You are so lucky! How wonderful! That's a lot of eggs! Did you leave some nesting material for her or prepare the box? Or did Mama do this all by herself? Looks soft, like dog hair. Hope you'll post updates. What a wonderful opportunity to witness nature - great shot Andrea!
I empty the boxes in the winter and they make new nests from scratch. I do supply dog hair in abundance and variety, in a handy cage nearby.
Nice shot it will be great to see the chicks.
Marvelous, can't wait to see hatched chicks...:))
Eight eggs seems to be a lot for one nest - an outstanding capture! Looking forward for seeing the newly hatched chicks!
